Extraordinary music in remarkable places – be part of the story
For nearly two decades the Two Moors Festival (Charity No. 1095723) has been at the forefront of the arts within the two moors communities and in the wider world.
We have an ambitious vision of enriching lives through music, and we are looking for more people to join in the fun – and the rewards - of delivering it!
While we are proud of our achievements, consistent external funding continues to be critical to the future of our work. In common with most arts organisations in the UK, only a portion of the funding we need to deliver outstanding programmes, events and participatory activities can ever come from box office sales and other earned income. Indeed, over half of our income - currently around £140,000 - must come from private sources. The support we receive from our members, sponsors, donors, volunteers and partners therefore plays an essential role in enabling us to carry on our work and to keep ticket prices affordable.
The Campaign Board has been has created to help us attract the funding we need and develop effective networks so we can sustain what has been achieved to date and reinforce the Festival as an artistic powerhouse and incubator of emerging talent. Although the Campaign Board is supported by and accountable to the Trustees, it operates as an independent free-standing body that recruits its own members and conducts its own affairs. It has financial targets and timescales to work to and the Chairman of the CB formally reports on a regular basis to the Trustees.
Join us as a Campaign Board member and become part of something that is by turns traditional, surprising and adventurous. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to arrange to come along as our guest to the next meeting.
We look forward to welcoming you!

The CB intends to extend its membership to between 15 and 20 people, mainly independents, selected on the basis of their ability to attract funding and to develop effective networking.
