A talk by Michael Brown on the wonderful organ in St Pancras' Church, Widecombe-in-the-Moor followed by a recital and a Cream Tea
Wednesday, 21st May, 3pm

The Two Moors Festival is delighted to announce the first of our special Members' events in this, our 25th anniversary year. The church of St Pancras, Widecombe in the Moor has acquired recently a 'new' organ from Christchurch, Oxford, thanks to the magnificent efforts of Michael Brown, who worked tirelessly to raise the funds for this much needed venture. The Nelson organ, about which Michael will talk first, will be played by both Michael and the immensely talented Charles Maxtone-Smith, organist at Buckfast Abbey.
We have decided that, although this is a Members' event, in this special year for us there will be no charge for the recital and it will be open to anyone. However places must be reserved by purchasing a free ticket; there will be an area of good seats reserved for Members on a first come basis. Donations will be invited for what promises to be a superb performance and a delicious cream tea. We are certain that you will wish to give generously!
Members are encouraged to bring friends to these events as we are always keen to publicise our exciting and rewarding Festival in October, full details of which will be announced in early May. Our Members help to make the Festival happen and we remain hugely grateful for their support.
