2027 Festival: 7 - 17 October

Young Musicians Competition Alumni Recital

Two winners from past Young Musicians Competitions will give a recital exclusively for Members of the Two Moors Festival and their guests.

Cole Craggs - trumpet
Teagan Craggs - violin

The programme will include works by Bach, Ysaÿe, Paganini, Ost, Maxwell Davies, Britten and Berio.

The Two Moors Festival is delighted to welcome back two of its former Young Musicians’ Competition winners – Cole Craggs, who was 12 when he won the brass section on trumpet in 2022 and Teagan Craggs, who was 15 when she won the string section on violin in 2023. They will share this recital in the tiny historic church at Clannaborough Barton – signed and easily accessible from the A3072 with plenty of parking in an area of the neighbouring farmyard! There will be a tent outside the church where we will be offering our audience a glass of Swanaford Cuvee Brut, kindly supplied by Swanaford Vineyard, Exeter and a bowl of fruit after the concert.

This recital is open exclusively to Members and their guests; early booking is advised as the Church holds only 40 people seated.
