John is a Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in music. He has been Managing Director of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Director of BBC Music (BBC Worldwide), Chairman of Hazard Chase and a founding partner of the artist management company, Percius. He was a producer for EMI Records working with many of the world's top performers and conductors. Now an Honorary Trustee of the Royal Academy of Music, he served for 9 years as a governor and chair of the audit committee, was a visiting professor at the Lord Ashcroft International Business School and a former chairman of the International Artist Management Association and The Two Moors Festival.
