Who We Are

Madeleine Shaw has been a professional classical singer since 2006. She was a Young Artist at English National Opera, a working relationship which continues to this day. Madeleine has performed widely in the UK and Europe.
Madeleine has been involved in outreach work, leading groups of community performers in various productions and more recently, in productions aimed at younger audience members and opera lovers with special needs.
Madeleine returned with her family to live Exeter in 2015. She spent some of her childhood growing up and around Exeter Cathedral where her father was Succentor and in charge of the liturgy and music. Her two girls are choristers in the Cathedral Choir and Madeleine currently volunteers to support the ‘enrichment’ of the choir as part of the Exeter Cathedral Choir Association.
